TO THE EDITOR: As a former member of the Morris School District Board of Education and a current resident of Mendham Township, I strongly endorse Liz Tamasi for our Board of Education.
Serving on a Board of Education isn’t just about attending meetings — it’s about shaping the future of our town’s children. Few responsibilities are more important. As voters, we must take this decision seriously, as the individuals we elect will define education in Mendham Township for years to come.
We should return to the Board those members who:
• Place the long-term goals of the district first;
• Work collaboratively with fellow board members, parents, administrators, and community leaders;
• Listen to the educational needs of our children; and
• Commit to the hard work of defining a vision for our schools.
Liz Tamasi meets and exceeds those high standards. She is good for our entire community, works across all viewpoints, and gets things done through both hard and smart work. Mendham Township schools will be best served by returning Liz Tamasi to our Board of Education.
