TO THE EDITOR: As the longest-serving elected member and former president of the Mendham Township Board of Education, I’ve had the privilege of working with many individuals who care deeply about our schools and our community.
Today, I’m proud to support incumbent Liz Tamasi for election to the Mendham Township Board of Education.
Liz is a parent and taxpayer who has brought a principled, thoughtful approach to the board. She has consistently demonstrated the qualities that define an excellent Board of Education representative: commitment to educational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and respectful collaboration with her colleagues.
Her professional experience – over 20 years managing multi million-dollar healthcare budgets and serving on national boards – gives her the executive insight needed to navigate complex challenges and make informed, strategic decisions for our schools.
Mendham Township schools are among the highest-performing in New Jersey and across the nation. That success is built on a tradition of strong leadership, community engagement, and a shared focus on what matters most – our children’s education.
Liz has shown that she is deeply committed to continuing that tradition. Her balanced, community-centered approach ensures that our board remains a place for constructive dialogue and sound decision making.
I encourage my fellow residents – parents, taxpayers, and community members – to join me in supporting Liz Tamasi for the Mendham Township Board of Education. Let’s keep our schools strong, our board focused, and our community united.
